Mayor Rick Rosenberg

Mayor Rick Rosenberg and his wife Terri moved to Santa Clara in 1989 and raised their four children in their Lava Flow Drive neighborhood. He graduated from Utah State University in 1984 with a BS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and was the founder of Rosenberg Associates, a full-service civil engineering and land surveying firm headquartered in St. George.  He has been actively involved in public service for 29 years in Santa Clara, currently serving his nineteenth year as Mayor, following five years on the City Council and six years as a Planning Commissioner.  

He has been recognized for his service and achievements in land development, civil engineering and public works project design throughout Washington County.  Rick is a recognized leader and understands the importance associated with providing adequate housing, public services and infrastructure within a community, and the impacts these components have on the quality of life of their residents. 

Rick is experienced working with multiple stakeholders including property owners; federal, state & local governmental regulatory agencies; and developers including critical scheduling and funding constraints. He has experience working through project obstacles and enabling project stakeholders to work cooperatively on cost effective solutions.
