The Santa Clara City Cemetery is a peaceful place of remembrance and reflection, honoring generations of community members and their families. Maintained by the City of Santa Clara, the cemetery provides a respectful and well-kept setting where visitors can celebrate and remember the lives of loved ones.
To help preserve the sacred, peaceful, and well-maintained appearance of the Santa Clara City Cemetery, scheduled clean-up periods are conducted throughout the year.
During these designated clean-up dates, all floral arrangements, decorations, shepherd hooks, plant holders, hangers, keepsakes, and other personal items must be removed prior to the scheduled clean-up. Any items remaining after the deadline will be removed and disposed of by City personnel. Fresh burial decorations are exempt from this policy.

Address
Our Veterans Memorial at the Santa Clara Cemetery stands as a solemn tribute to the men and women who answered the call to serve. Nestled nearby the quiet rows of headstones, the memorial offers a place of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance.
At its center rises a monument engraved with the names of service members who served in conflicts ranging from World War I and World War II to the Korean War, Vietnam War, and more recent operations. Each name etched in stone represents a story of courage, sacrifice, and devotion to duty.
Surrounding the monument, the flags of the United States and the branches of the armed forces stand proudly, moving gently in the breeze—a visible reminder of the freedoms preserved through service and sacrifice. Benches nearby invite visitors to pause, reflect, and honor those who gave so much.
The memorial is more than stone and metal; it is a gathering place for our annual Wreaths Across America ceremony where families, friends, and neighbors come together in shared remembrance. It serves as a lasting symbol of our community’s respect, gratitude, and unwavering commitment to never forget those who served.
