  1. Seeing the Planning Commission’s got a pretty packed agenda for July 10th, 2025! I’m particularly interested in item B on the list, regarding the modifications to the “Sunburst Village Master Plan.”

It seems like the goal here is to accommodate additional green space alongside retail development, which sounds beneficial to the community. Kudos on prioritizing that! I just have two immediate questions.

First, has the Commission specifically determined by what percentage those changes will expand current available general public green space; I’m thinking of non-residential properties included near “the village?” Also, has there been any public sentiment tracking to understand support levels regarding the inclusion? Second, would there be considerations for pedestrian only zones, specifically given potential rise of vehicles and how that decision will play out in the local development to affect local population and visitors?

I’m hoping to see how these decisions influence future traffic levels as well; any early thoughts on planned infrastructure adjustments for that area would be appreciated! Thanks for sharing!
