Urgent Request for Meal Donations
Switchpoint is facing an emergency situation after a flood damaged their new family housing shelter and community kitchen yesterday, forcing them to shut down food preparation for the next two weeks. Switchpoint serves three meals a day, seven days a week to homeless residents and community members without turning anyone away—that’s approximately 3,000 meals they’ll need during this closure period. They are urgently seeking restaurants and catering companies willing to donate pre-prepared meals to ensure our most vulnerable community members don’t go hungry. If you know of any food service businesses that might be able to help, please share this request with them immediately. Contact Switchpoint directly for coordination details, and thank you for helping our community come together during this critical time.
