SUMMARY:America250 Activity: Arbor Day Santa Clara Liberty Tree Planting
DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, May 1s at 12:30 pm in front of the Town Hall\, join Jamie Barnes\, the State Forester of Utah as she plants a “Liberty Tree” with City officials. Groups from Santa Clara and Arrowhead Elementary Schools will sing patriotic numbers and refreshments will be served. The original Liberty Tree in Boston was a rallying point for colonial defiance against the Stamp Act of 1765. We will plant our own Liberty Tree in Santa Clara to celebrate the original tree.
